full sized loft for sale
My boyfriend just built a full sized loft bed and is putting it up for sale. It's extremely stable with extra supports. It holds over 400lbs.
Great for people who have small rooms or anyone who needs more storage. Let me know if you are interested: my AIM screen name is on my info page or just post a comment.
Thanx so much!
Hey everyone from DOR! Just posting to say hi! We have to keep in touch..ttyl!

Already DoR has changed my perspective a bit. I'm seeing familiar faces and starting to really look at people at the same time. This may sound strange, but generally I find myself going through my day a little introverted against the swells of people I encounter while walking through DuSable, Watson, Cole, and Reavis. I tend to turn my concentration inward and the faces start to blur. But now that I've met and personally identified with so many people outside of my group of dorm-floor friends, I have to be on the look out. I may have a terrible time with names, but I never forget a face, and I want to make sure I keep in touch at least to the point of exchanging greetings. That's the minimum. On the other side of the spectrum, I want to be able to start and stop a casual conversation and be up to date enough on their lives or general activities we may have participated in to comment intelligently.
The nice part is, I've run into and started conversations with several DoR people, along with buying a painted gourd from Mohsin in Cole Hall. Everyone! Go buy pumpkins in Cole! It's for a good cause! Current Mood: nostalgic
My Friends from DOR
How much I miss all of you! I can't wait until we get together for the reunion dinner. Never did I ever dream how much I would learn from all of you this past weekend. I really wish it didn't have to end!

Welcome everyone to the NIU Dialogue on Race LJ community. It was discussed at DOR about having a continuing web discussion board, and to make things easier, this board was made on Live Journal, which is free and easy to use. For now, the community is set up so that you need a LiveJournal account to participate, but that shouldn't be a problem because all you need to join is a valid email. Accounts here are free and easy to use and customize. There is already a LiveJournal NIU community, for general chit-chat about NIU events, questions, rants about teachers/assignments, and places to reference resources.
I'm going to contact Tim and Jes and Joyce about this and see if they want to take over moderating this community, since they wanted to be a part of the web discussion anyway.
Have fun people!
[For reference, when you start an LJ account and you want to post it to this community rather than your own journal, just make sure you select NIU_DOR in the option where it says Post To: ] Current Mood: cheerful
